A good cup of coffee in the morning, especially one for a stovetop coffee pot, beats just about anything else that will reach your lips shortly after you get out of bed. There are many places to purchase the coffee maker that will fit you and your family's "coffee needs". Even better than a good cup of coffee that is brewed just as you like, is to accompany it with some top of the line sausage and a cinnamon roll or some similar sweet morning treat.
If you or your spouse get up early in the morning, a timer or self starting coffee maker is probably the best feature that your coffee maker will have. Who wants to drag themselves out of bed in the morning and look for all the items needed to put together a good tasting, hot coffee cup in the morning. Even worse, image you were waking up in the morning and not having the wonderful smell of coffee brewing and the sausage or bacon smell on the griddle to fill your house with the "hunger creating" aromas.

It really boils down to what you really want or need in your every day coffee experience and you're wanting everything to be automatic.
Some go for the proper color that will match their kitchen or office location, maybe their lunch room or break room. Others go for features and what the coffee pot can do for them, aside from just brewing coffee. Some come with steamers, warmers, it really depends on the price, location, and type of coffee post that you're looking to buy.
